signed artiste, Hans Bekx whose voice is behind the popular inspirational song
“Brita Dae” featuring Ghana’s fastest rapper Sarkodie has gained nomination in
the upcoming Ghana Gospel industry Awards slated for this June.
The artiste, who was
nominated in the category of Best Alternative Gospel music, is so optimistic of
picking up his first national music award come the event day.
Organizers explained
that category as, musicians who are not really gospel musicians but are doing
music that speaks or stands for positivity. This category cuts across for every
musician, provided your current single has a link to the good status of
society.
“For Hans Bekx, his
current banger ‘Brita dae’ fits this category because the song has matured
positive lyrics that will lift up your soul, telling you there will one day be
a brita dae, so what other way do you want to relate it to, than an alternative
gospel music, simply because it is soul lifting.
In a chat with Hans
Bekx, the guitar man, he was grateful to God first for this nomination,
secondly to the organizers for recognizing good music with positive vibes that
will uplift society and giving that song a nod in their upcoming gospel music
awards.
‘I know it is a
difficult category, because I am there with DCryme among other great
artistes i am told but for me it is a win situation Hans noted. I have not been in the
game for long as in professionally as a solo artiste and if my first
single release Is giving me a nomination than Ghana should get ready
for I am coming hard with the next single’.
