Rapper Zerben releases ‘TroTro Mate’ a Spoken Word

I have heard a couple of young guys (those in Hip hop circles will be referred to us ‘underground cats’) do a lot of good Hip-hop music and spoken word recently and I want to recommend one.

Though his lyrics, style and delivery could be better, I have a strong believe that this Zenith College student will go places in the line he has chosen.

Known in real life as “Patrick Zerben” but in music and Spoken word circles as ‘Zerben”, the young rapper with the slogan the rapper eater moved a step further to his dream of getting a breakthrough with his spoken word in his new piece ‘TroTro Mate’.

The word represents the struggles of a young dynamic passionate “TroTro Mate” which literally means ‘Bus Conductor’ on the street.

In the new piece Zerben puts himself in the shoes of all hustles that are thriving to make it in their respective work.

In Ghana, the struggles of a ‘TroTro Mate’ cannot be overlooked but the irony is that their situations can be applied to our daily lives and that is exactly what Zerben did in his new single.

He puts in more thinking as he ironically compares two different life situations and issues.

Message from Zerben to every hustler: 

I see the hustle of every true hustler, Ya'll keep grinding cos hardwork pays.... "#TrotroMate" is a SpokenWord by Zerben (Produced by SarfoKay).... Like I said the delivery can be better but this new single from the young spoken word artist Zebern deserves to be praised.
