BECCA REFUSES TO RENDER ACCOUNT ON CHILDREN’S BALL-HOPE FOR THE CHILD

Becca has continuously refused to render account on several occasions for her children’s ball-hope for the child project held on the 20^th Of March 2010 which had the aim registering over thousand children in the country for National Health Insurance Scheme.

With almost a month away to end the year, Becca and her management are yet to come out with a statement to explain how collection, allocation and registration of the innocent children’s NHIL have gone so far.

It is very easy to measure how successful Becca’s musical career is going as she recently released her new video but on other side it is very hard to quantify her success about the charity show she put together.

All efforts to get some news about the insurance money in the past months have always proved impossible as the defence for Becca has always come to her rescue.

One of such defence was: “Becca can’t fly Donors pledges unpaid” a headline found on the front page of Graphic Showbiz some months back.

 In the story, it was made known that; Becca will be travelling to Dubai to meet with Kompac Oil (mother Company of Kompac oil) heads about their pledge.

Referring to that same story it was also made known that physical monies raised at the event was very little and other pledges including the Kompac oil’s have not been fulfilled yet, hence the musician cannot go on with her activities.

Questions are being asked as to whether the artiste (Becca) really travelled to Dubai as mentioned and upon her return what did she tell Ghanaians, also another question boggling minds is, “was Kompac Oil’s pledge the only heavy pledge at the event, what is happening to the other pledges as mentioned in the Showbiz story can’t Becca tell as what is really going on.

Probably we have to ‘still’ wait for Deloitte Ghana to come out with the number of pledges being fulfilled so far since they are the acclaimed managers of her monies or pledges for the charity show, Or ‘A pledge is a pledge, it can be honored or dishonored’ as mention in the showbiz story.

With less than a month to end the year, we would have believed that as she focuses on her music career, she will also pull along her charity show because it is also as important to her fans, music lovers and faithful donors who turned up for her charity show.

For how long will celebrities like Becca be allowed to escape with their humanitarian side of their career, knowing that such activities builds up their career vitae adding up to their achievement and in enjoying the glories they leave the poor innocent beneficiaries hanging.

Ghanaians are tired of waiting Becca, it is about time they know how, what and whom has benefited from the charity show you organized, time has far been spent.
