With originality being the key word, Fujy De Konero is definitely a name to look out for when it comes to reggae and dancehall music in Ghana and beyond.

 As an upcoming artiste, Fujy, as his fans affectionately call him, seems to be taking the industry by storm and this he started with his first single  “I need someone” which featured Quata and enjoyed a lot of air play especially in Jamaica, The United Kingdom and some parts of the U.S.A.

An amazing blend of ‘Patoa’ and ‘Twi’ combined with great craftsmanship and an overwhelming desire to touch lives with his music is what sets Fujy aside from his peers while he takes advantage of every opportunity offered him to shine.

Being as driven and as tough as the word “konero” means, fugy has managed to work with some international acts such as Rsenal and Cat eyes both from Jamaica. Also with his single “survivor”, Fujy was the only Ghanaian featured on the European hit mix tape “Jungle fever rhythms” produced by the famous Portuguese producer, Sir Giant.

Having started as a hip-hop artiste, Fujy De Konero also teamed up with Nigeria’s own Ella Baby on the smashing hip-hop hit “train”.

Born Elvin K. fujymorre, he fell in love with his reggae and dancehall side when he first listened to songs by reggae heavy weights Templeton and Sizzla,  and has since then been churning out beautiful reggae and dancehall tunes including a rendition of  Asa’s “jailer”.

Growing up, Fujy never thought he was going to be a musician. Even though he used to write lyrics for his friends, he always dreamt of becoming a lawyer. Fujy eventually discovered his potential as a rapper during his first year in high school when he was forced to perform for his seniors and with time, has grown into a versatile musician.

Raised by a single mother whom he loves dearly, Fujy believes that every day and everything is a blessing, therefore will stop at nothing to make his dreams come true and to continue blessing others with his music.

And with this he promises many other soul serenading, feet moving and conscious music from the stables of Salute Music Group and 84 Label.
