The democratic Guru has settled with his Ghana Music Awards 12th edition nominations as he speaks with so much humility for the recognition.
Guru who was nominated for two categories, specifically, best rapper of the year and Hip life song of the year all for the song ‘DEMOCRACY” is optimistic of his chances of winning both nominations.
The artiste who spoke to us from his hideout said: ‘in the beginning I had wanted to opt out but if the good people of Ghana have recognized my hard work over the year, I settle for the nominations I am in and not just in to watch but to win’.
Guru also lamented that, he is grateful for the team that built, natured and made sure he is who he is today, promising them of a brighter working relationship in the future.
To his lovely listeners as he calls them regularly, he was so humbled to be their music icon, the fact that they have been there from day one till now tells him how appreciable they are and promised them of nothing but serving them with music their ears want to hear.
Finally he said, the time has come for his lovely listeners to push him to the top, two categories, I hope you will drive me to grab them, hence let’s vote when the time comes.
