The soul of the capital Vibe 91.9 Fm will on the 26th and 27th of December 2010 put the missing Soul back into the capital with the annual street carnival to be held at the OSU Oxford street.
Vibe Productions, a section of the station in charge of the Carnival promises nothing but extraordinary fun come December, taking keen interest from what happened last year.
In an interview with Bridget Babiee Dappah, popularly known as the 1st lady of the station, she revealed: ‘this year’s carnival is star packed first off, second off, it is activities choked and third of, is a two day memorable, unforgettable experience’.
She also added that, ‘this year the setting is different, flavors are growing, plus a variety of friends from the outside world specifically the Caribbean, the Salsa dancers and Khaki performance have been invited to join the street parade’.
There will be corners for everyone, the reggae, root lovers will not be left out, GH music or Rap will be on full plate coupled with Hip Life, Afro pop and some Smooth jazz music, is simply serving Ghanaians with different flavors/genres of music making sure every music lover is satisfied.

She also did specify that as a Station the carnival serves as part of their Christmas package for their honorary listeners, the best is yet to come from Vibe Fm.
For more information, guest appearances, DJ’s on rotation and Mc’s tune into the carnival diaries Monday through to Friday from 10 am to 12noon, two hours of what to expect come 27th and 26th of December.
The Street carnival is supported by the Ministry of tourism, A. M .A, Citi 97.3 Fm, GTV, Metro TV, Nanayaw18.com, Lead Advertizing and is powered by Vibe 91.9Fm.
