After rocking the Yfm area code party inside their own territory Dansoman, (DC), Stunnaz is coming into the light with a huge hug for fans this December and early next year.
Stunnaz success story on stage did not only end at the DC Park but travelled with them to Tarkoradi when they together with Okyeame Kwame rocked the ‘Okyeame Kwame in your Zone Tour, last weekend, an experience that they hold in high esteem.
The artistic meaning of their name is explained as; ‘a bright future lights shines so bright that normal eyes cannot see unless with a STUNNAZ, a name which was greatly inspired by Richie of Lynx Entertainment.
Coming from a ten year background as individual artiste before merging as a group, Stunnaz made up of Joshua Metler (J Metler) and Arthur Majoris Bank (Kwame speeches) have spent a lot of years preparing as Hip Hop artiste based in Ghana.
“Before we merged I remember we used to battle each other on the street of DC and we never agreed, Speeches lamented on.
Currently Stunnaz have a video but compressed with a package for fans. A two in one video for the songs ‘SO NOR’ and ‘ALL 4 U’, videos shot by OB of O M studios.
The full album is almost ready, songs were recorded by Kodi, Appietus and Richie of Lynx Entertainment, plus they worked with Kodi on ‘All 4 U’, Richie and ASEM on Give It Up, plus a couple of features, a great twelve song album well arranged, mix and mastered by the best hands in the industry, fans are going to love it.
The only future Stunnaz envies is a possible collaboration with Hip Hop artiste like Kanye West, KRS 1, among others and also foresees a possible MTV or Grammy awards some time to come.
J Metler described their strategy going forward as: ‘For now we want to focus on the local terrain, working so hard to get the name as a house hold name’. So far we believe it is working, this year has been a good a year, Stunnaz is climbing a peaceful ladder with no beef in the industry and gradually building a fan base, Speeches added his voice.
The group had a lot of thank yous for hands that helped in their building, shaping, transforming them as artiste and also DJ’s through which people heard their songs.
