Ghana Movie Awards had its nominees release party recently at the Golden Tulip Hotel with all those who mattered in the industry been present. The major even takes place on the 25^th of December 2010 at the international conference center, but can the center contain the coming crowd?

Quickly a look at the humor, objections, eye browse questions and the way forward for this years’ Ghana Movie Awards which comes with the Slogan, ‘TIME TO MAKE BELIEVE’.

Before we even tell you what happen there, someone ask Citizen Attoh of Joy Fm why he kept on repeating: “ladies and Gentlemen, we welcome you all to Golden Tulip Accra”, of course we all gathered there knew we were in Accra and not Kumasi, the guy repeated the above line throughout the whole show, WHY?

On the lighter side, Nadia Buari arrived at the event late for a reason nobody knows but banned Yvonne Nelson over looked her shame and pride making an appearance at the event, late as well, (Oh! Yvonne Nelson when?), hmmmm! May be she came to seek for pardon, since Socrates Sarfo was around but constantly running away from the media and their camera, Socrates WHY?

Ghana Movie Awards is the only event that could move pregnant women from their beds; Juliet Ibrahim could not afford to miss out on the fun hence made a sexy appearance with her big pregnant stomach, You should have seen her in the dress.

Still on the lighter side, over happy Martha Ankomah could not stop dancing all around with some friends because of some few nominations but wait her dress code for the night was show some body and Skin.

Majority of the celebs with their friends were caught up in the show your skin competition but the winner for the night went to late arrival Nadia Buari, (Guess what she was wearing)

Mr. Beautiful, Akorbotu and their local movie makers were there to grace the event but Mr. Beautiful, Why? the hat on that cool suit was very funny and that alcohol bottle you held on to through the whole event, were you acting on us.

A look at some objections at the event concerning the nominees and their rewards for this year’s Ghana Movie Awards 2010.

Fred Amugi with his team took a delegate decision with the awards by saying: “Every actor will receive one award; nobody will receive more than one”.

On the eye browse questions about the nominations, majority kept on asking why Sinking sands, had to be nominated and Rogger Quartey’s Turn Me On was not, also Kobi Rana could not understand why, ‘Who Loves Me’ should be in the category for Best Story line and his movie, ‘Kiss Me if You can’ was not in there.

Now one issue we have to look at, what was Confidence, and 4x4 doing at Ghana Movie awards nominees’ party, supporting the Ghana entertainment agenda we guess, but what kind of support?

Finally as usual we award celebrities and leave out those who matter, where are the nominees for best Production House, Executive Productions and may be best Production manager, may be the visual effect, cinematography, art direction and the like covers it up.
