DKB as the name rhymes with his tag line sexy Dada B, was one sensation you couldn’t have missed on 31st December 2010 the night of the 12th edition of Charterhouse’s major comedy show Night of 1011 laughs and music.
As a member of Ghana Comedian network, who is standing on a much bigger comedy platform the organizers had confidence in him, to kick off the show.
Even though it was amidst of unsettled audience as some people were now taking their seats and others getting g ready for the show with an unexpected brawl taking place on the right wing of the audience.
What more can you bet that would never have passed without DKB commenting on it to create a thunderous laughter.
With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Ghana he started on a rather slow note talking about his gigantic head size and why as a child he always had a mirror in his pocket to watch a passing aero plane from below because his head might drag him to ground if he looked up
Gradually he got the audience laughing for him from act to act, interestingly talking about the fact that the sun scorches us so hard because we have abbreviated Ghana to GH, that he said means Ghana Hot so why won’t the sun scorch us mercilessly and how funny the titanic trip would have been if it was filled with Ghanaians.
He completed his performance emphasizing on how if he was about to be born again, he would have come out of his mother’s womb if he heard the nurses speaking Ga or Ewe but he would gladly come out if he heard ‘init’ or ‘yo’ ‘my homies’ because he doesn’t want to come and suffer in Ghana again.
DKB popularly known as ‘The sexy Dada B head’ was quite impressive at the show, receiving a pass from the audience.
As a growing comedian DKB has performed on stages like, Eddie Kadi in Ghana by Akwaaba UK, Launch of Limelight magazine, Laugh Out Loud, GH Humour, Launch of Vodafone EVO, Music Music, Sound Splash and currently a consistent performer on The Comedy Show at Citizen kofi.
Diversely he has MC’ed a couple of programmes such as the Joy Fm old school’s re-union,Coca Cola Brrrr activation, Spriteball, Khareema Aguiar’s 25th birthday with the Aged and many more
