Winners of the Vodafone
Icons mixed editions – Black N Peach after stunning at the 020live concert is
all set to debut their first official single titled ‘Wonkoa’ this Friday. The
song will be premiered on radio stations across the capital this Friday – 9th
of November 2012 with stations like Y107.9fm, Hitz103.9fm, Radio xyz93.1fm and
many more listed to get first time airing.
In a statement from the
music group, they disclosed that they are excited about premiering their debut
single and are optimistic that fans will love it to the max.
They mentioned: ‘we had to
take our time to make good use of every experience we gathered from the
competition.
In talking about the soon to be released single,
Sammy Forson, Head of Aspire Entertainment, management team for Black N Peach
hinted that the song was recorded by two renowned producers and it has been an
awesome experience for Black N Peach working with two great creative minds. The
sound produced is unique and refreshing. Black N Peach is hoping not to just
impress their fans in Ghana but Africa in general.
He also added that the
song is one that will not only build a huge following for the group but also it
will bring to bear the experience these young guys gathered during the
competition. Trust us, this is not a competition song but a commercial song, he
maintained smiling.
In Black N Peach’s final
words, the group stated that they are grateful to everyone who supported them
during their competition. ‘Wonkoa’ is a gratitude song and we know Ghanaians
will accept just like how they brought us here’.

words as, we are humbled by the support Black N Peach had during the
competition. ‘On Friday they break silence ‘Wonkoa’. Make a point to join the
