THE FIGHT TO HOST Icons: Diva Edition IS ON?

As the countdown to the commencement of this innovative TV reality show continues, the speculations surrounding who would be hosting the show is equally exciting.  Vodafone and Storm 360, the producers of the show remain tight-lipped about the host for the show.
Based on some few observations we made in the build-up so far we can safely narrow the selection of three hot voice to host the prestigious show.


If the  ‘diva’ theme is anything to go by, then  the fact that so far Vodafone has kept its British influences very much alive and the fact that a female voice might be good, one of the obvious choices for a host would be UK-trained  and experienced broadcaster, Ama K Abebrese. 
Remember Ama from the movie, SINKING SANDS, and currently leads the Viasat 1 television station local division, will she be allowed to stage a comeback or her tie to a TV station will prevent her.


The next two options are strong gentlemen, on of them has a British influence and the other the voice of Ghana, currently behind all the voice overs in the country.
 Jay Foley of 4syte TV, 2131, Y107.9fm, and TRAP matching boot for boot with Benny Blanco of Shirley’s sparrows latest movie “6HOURS TO CHRISTMAS”,  where he played as the ministers son, hosts a show at X95.1 FM ,plus Benny has starred in many television commercials.


As the selection of the final 75 girls has be done, who will the Master of Ceremony be, is it going to be Ama K Abebrese, Jay Folley or Benny Blanco, o find out if any of these people would make the cut, tune in on Sunday, February 13, when the first episode of Icons: Divas Edition airs on TV. 


Icons: Divas Edition will air on major TV stations in Ghana and on pan-African cable networks. TV3 has the prime spot telecast at 8.00pm with Net 2, Multi TV, Crystal TV, ETV and GTV and Metro TV (yet to be confirmed) joining in at 8.30 each Sunday evening.
