GHANA MOVIE AWARDS 2010 WAS DISRESPECTED BY NIGERIANS

Last year Christmas day 25^th December saw the rebirth of the maiden edition of Ghana’s movie awards held at the international conference center.

The event was graced by actors and actresses from Nigeria saving the occasion of outside influsence among them were, Shegu Arinze, Genevieve Nnaji, Uti Nwachukwu winner of the first ever Big brother all star edition, among others.

Source close to http://www.nanayaw18.com/ reveals that the Nigerians disrespected the whole ceremony right from Ghana before getting to Nigeria, where they chewed on the event as a pass with more room for improvement.

This started from Uti who was caught saying, “I really did not deserve to win this award, first off, secondly the competiting nominees are my role models, so how do I win an award over them and finally because the movie I played a role in has not been seen by the majority, so how then do I win an award”.

Uti who starred in the movie ‘BUSTING OUT’, a plot not seen by many added that, although he did not deserve the award he was very grateful to the committee for selecting him as nominee and a winner.

It is believed that Uti and friends had to leave the event before it closure because of some horrible mistakes that happened to Genevieve Nnaji, where her nominations was played for the men category of best West African collaboration, hence she had to collect her award with the male category.

In all the Nigerians who seemed more disappointed during their early exist could not stand the heat of the Ghanaian media and had to rush out of their auditorium for their flight back to Nigeria.
