The just ended Ghana music awards launch at the Golden Tulip hotel, the 12th Edition for that matter has fifteen (15) categories as the public awards and nine (9) categories as industry awards, and hence there are twenty-four (24) categories set for the whole awards.
As the tradition has been annually the public get to select their favorite nominee from each category by way of voting, this year is no exception.
Touching on the industry awards, those are awards that are influenced by industry players; here the public has no power that the awards winners are.
This year, the public has 3o% out of the whole 100% with the categorization committee weighing 35% and the planning committee also weighing, if you ask, it looks like a fair deal.
