Fianko who is popularly known as Cedis has busted out saying that a new label
with the biggest ambition to carry Ghanaian music to the world is here to stay
as the label just got better with three strong artistes under its umbrella.
The manager of Empire
Records which is a sub set of the bigger umbrella Empire Entertainment in a
chat about the labels plans for its musicians since many labels have died out
within the past years, revealed?
Cedis: ‘Empire Records
as a label that has come to stay with the simple aim of providing musicians the
correct direction and assistance that they deserve to grow in their career
hence we as a label have our own structures in place that we are following to
make sure our artistes becomes the best where ever they find themselves in the
world.
He maintained: ‘currently
the label is in full flight with three strong better artistes such as the Lapaz Toyota man Guru (rap heavy weight),
the heavy load duo Double of Ee Manna plus Walai Talai fame and one sexy
songstress called Asantewaa’.
He went on saying
that, one of the structures at Empire Records is that some of the artistes are
under management where by the label serves as a pivot for their career, here we
direct them by providing assistance with all necessary advice while others are
on the Empire Records full executive production, so at Empire Records we understand
the direction in which we are going.
‘I must say many
label’s have tried but died out, trust Empire Records with the blessing from
the Heavily Father God together with the eagle eyes of Bola Ray including myself
Cedis the Empire dream just got better’,
Cedis noted about the question of the label’s sustainability in the system.
In his last
statements Mr. Daniel Obeng stressed that one of the dreams is to be able to
present three strong Empire artistes to the world in the next 3 years but as
usual we taking it one after the other.
The dream is big but
we can’t do it without the help of Ghanaian DJs and media, so let’s all support
the Empire Records label so it can stay as one of the successful labels in the
country for we lack many, Cedis final words.
