Jayso together with Ghana’s artiste of the year Sarkodie have meet on the ‘TMG’
–the mind game album to drum the message of Hip Hop home well making sure it
gets the attention it deserves.
“TMG” which means ‘THE
MIND GAME’ is a new album coming from these two top rap cats in the hip hop
world and TMG is literal explained as: ‘in life everything we do is all about
the mind hence to do good music and understanding
its rudiments is all about the mind’.
According to Jayso
who produced 14 tracks of the 15 track album with the exception of 1 single which was
produced by Coptic inside the United States of America disclosed: ‘Sarkodie and
myself planned this album during the time we were recording his (Sarkodie)
first album – ‘Makye’ and thank God after so many years it actually
materializes.
He maintained: ‘this
collaboration is one that aims to drum the hip hop message in the ears of
Ghanaians but in as much we love to go all hard core, most of the songs are
commercially produced to meet every audience.’
‘The 15 track album
has songs like ‘Pizza & burger’, ‘I am in love with your girl friend’, ‘let
them know now’, ‘refix of Frema’ by the legendary Akosua Agyapong, among others
good tunes plus it also had featuring with artiste like Efya from Ghana, Rumor
of Skillions, Egypt from states and another foreign artiste on the album.
‘TMG’ is an album
that will blow your imagination, it will set the record straight that hip hop
has a staying power in Ghana and most importantly the fact that Ghana can boost
of two strong rap heavy weights in the like of Sarkodie & JaySo.
