Ticketing Company, Ticketdoug has disclosed that they identified and caught
over 18 fake tickets during the I love my life concert hosted by Samini at the
DOME – AICC on the 7th of July 2012.
According to a
management member Mr. Nana charley Panny, he disclosed to 18newspaper.com that
many fake tickets were caught by the eagle eyes of the company’s latest
technology and they also stop other unauthorized stamps that were noticed.
He mentioned: ‘during
the normal tickets check-ins at the entrance we caught a lot of innocent event
attendees holding fake tickets, many of them said they bought them at the main
entrance of the hall while others admitted to the fact that they duplicated the
tickets themselves’.
Nana maintained:
‘what we normally do is, when we burst such people we hand them over to the
police but organizers pleaded on their behalf and hence they were denied entry
to watch the concert’.
We always advise
event organizers to always safeguard their tickets, they should not leave
anything to chance hence with the best security measures from Ticketdoug, their

He also advised event
attendees saying, they should always make sure they have safe guarded their
tickets and they should always buy tickets from authorized agents not at

A statement from the organizers of the event
confirmed the fact that they were pleased with the level of professionalism
displayed by Ticketdoug, before, during and after the event and also warned
event attendees not to buy tickets from anywhere apart from Ticketdoug outlets
or at the main office.
In Nana’s final
words, he cautioned all fake ticket sellers who turn up at the entrance of the
concert claiming to be selling tickets at reduce prices that, ‘they will not
support our industry or encourage event organizers if they are always losing
hence people should stop that behavior next time they may not be lucky to have
a plea from organizers and we will have to hand you over to the police’.
