Alternative Gospel music
award winner at the recent held Ghana Gospel industry awards, Hans Bekx is
gearing towards an official release of his peace song which was recorded by
Zapp Malet, the veteran sound engineer.
According to the
management of the artiste, Kojons multimedia, Hans decided to add his small
quota to the say no to violence during election 2012.
No one can say that the
level of peace campaign messages coming into the country from the arts is too
much, NO, it is not as a matter of fact we will appeal to other musicians to do
same if not for anything at all, for the love of our fans who we still want to
feed with good music after the election, Kojo head of the management team
mentioned.
He added: ‘the many noise
we create, the better because it makes the politician sit up and realize that,
Ghanaians are not ready for their own selfish intentions to use violence to win
power and no youth will be available for them this year to misbehave’.
The manager noted that,
Hans is not fighting along but he has the support of award winning artistes who
also stands for no violence during election 2012.
He stressed: ‘Hans bekx
worked with Blakk Rasta, Guru, Sherifa Gunu, Adane best (the ace singer), male
vocal artiste of the year 2012 at the GMAs Kesse is on as well as the current
gospel artiste of the year according to the GGIAs Selina Boateng.
So the song is a complete
mix of both different genres, religious backgrounds and believes, meaning we
want to send the message of unity and peaceful coexistence among one other
during, before and after election 2012.
The Hans’s bekx and friend’s
peace song will be released soon, readers should check with 18newspaper.com for
