Over the weekend one topic
that caught us inside Nanayaw18.com thinking was, ‘how evil is circular music
and their musicians’. Interesting enough we happened to be at this weekend
talked about show and saw how Evangelist Lord Kenya made circular music look.
The one time rave maker made
it looked like, if he did his old songs he will be going to hell, that could be
understood but when the artiste started preaching people inside the Dome by
saying ‘allow the holy spirit to be in this room and during his interview
backstage, he said, he accepted the offer because the Holy spirit led him to do
what he came to do’,
Wow, so we did some little
digging into finding out if indeed circular music is evil like how it has been
painted to us.
In doing our research we came
to realize that, it is not only Lord Kenya or Ofori Amponsah who are making
circular music look so devilish but even the aged musicians.
Has anybody heard Papa
Yankson’s current single on the market, what about Joel Ackah and Akosua
Agjapong what about C.K Man. All these names were one time hit makers in their genres
of circular music but when they got older they have changed from doing those
music for some reasons only best known to them.
I mean we recently heard Rex
Omar saying that, he regrets doing the popular Abiba hit single that brought
him more attention. May be that was why he switched to gospel music after that.
Of course we also heard
Ghana’s BET award winner, Sarkodie saying in a rap with Hetty Bongreat that, if
it gets harder for him in circular music he will stop to do gospel, what does
that mean?
Are all these people saying
circular music is that evil, or they are trying to say that, they did not know
what circular music was before entering into it in the first place and why do
they all relate to gospel music at the time their careers are dying out?
If that is the case should
people be encourage to do circular music knowing that it is that evil taking a
key from our ace musicians and some
current young ones.
Nanayaw18.com is asking, at
what point does these circular musicians get their calling from the Lord? Is it
at the time of which their careers are dying out and have less attention? Why
don’t they turn to the gospel at their peak time.
Our suggestion is, we all
believe in God in different ways, these newly turned born again Christians
should not make it look like circular music and the musicians will be going to
hell when they have enjoyed from that cup for years.
