Ruff N smooth after all their hard work channeling out five hit songs from one album, excluding their break through single swagger song is missing at this year’s GMA’s.
Songs like, Stop that train, Azingele, Time Changes, Monalisa, Sexy Machine and No ‘Bushaking’ were all not noticed by the selection committee this year.
The question fans of Ruff N Smooth are asking according to their face book page is, ‘what is really the cause of their missing in action this year, they thought their artiste (Ruff N smooth) deserved to be there after numerous hits, last year.
In a little chat with the Swagger Boys on phone they were so much surprise as their fans, also looking for the very reason why they did not get a single nomination, after so many hits.
The question both artiste and fans are asking is, what is happening, an explanation they really want the organizers to answer…..
From our investigations we also gathered that last year there was a little confrontation between a member of Ruff N Smooth and an Executive director of Charter Haus, so could that be the reason for their absence.
Well the 12th edition of Ghana music Awards nominees list is out and the boys from Empire Entertainment are missing in action for a reason many are still deliberating and arguing on.
A section of some industry
players we spoke to sampling their opinion on the issue were of the view that, last year because the group had a nomination with swagger, it makes the album dead, while majority of them said that, the group, Ruff N Smooth needed to be in there, their hits were tremendous.
For now the boys (Ruff N Smooth) are shocked to the bone as to why they were not nominated, they still need an explanation from Charter Haus, the organizer or any member of the categorization committee, until that they will keep on knocking the doors of the organizers.
