NUBIAN STUNNERS |
The newest term in
town blazing hot and wild is from the one time hit makers from DC Nubian
Stunners called ‘PUMPAPA’ but unfortunately the meaning of the term is being misunderstood as ‘ass’.
In an exclusive
interview with 18newspaper.com inside their DC hide out, Nubian Stunners
disclosed that they did the song with the idea of promoting confidence hence
PUMPAPA is for the lady who has confidence and can reach for her goal.
They mentioned: ‘the
word does not mean ass as people are taking it to be, when you listen to the
song, nothing about the song depicts ass so we find it funny the response
people are giving to the meaning’.
Nubian Stunners which
is made up of Jay Metler and Kwame Speeches maintained: ‘even though the song is
doing well on air, we want to correct the notion circulating but if fans want a
prove they should get a copy of the song and judge for themselves’.
‘PUMPAPA came about
when Kwame Speeches, the other member of Nubian Stunners was looking for a
wired word that will represent confidence or vigor and the wired word came in
naturally’, the group noted.
In their ending statement
to 18newspaper, Nubian Stunners stressed that they are grateful to fans holding
the song down especially Dansoman (DC) but they are not in to promote nudity as
a brand but to improve upon people’s lives hence to judge the meaning of
PUMPAPA get a copy of the song and listen.
‘PUMPAPA is the
latest addiction catching up with a lot of people, it is spreading so fast like
a disease. From today if you want to say vigor just use the word ‘PUMPAPA’,
shouts to Nubian Stunners for that creativity.
