This year the legends and
legacy ball is sure to spring more surprises come the 15th of
September 2012 at the International conference main hall with one of the
international act, Freddy Meiway the Ivorian super star set to perform Amakye
Dede’s songs.

hearing that news caught up with the events Manager of Imagin Advertising, Kojo
Rana, who confirmed the news that yes, the Ivorian super star will be in town
to honor the legend and the great Amakye dede.
Kojo mentioned: ‘even though
I cannot tell fans the song Freddy is said to be performing come this 15th
of September, I assure them of a great performance and don’t forget Meiway
himself is a strong performer’.
He maintained: ‘Meiway who
is a great friend to Amakye Dede upon hearing that we honoring him, could not
wait to share in his joy hence he agreed to perform.

about this year’s surprise package since the very first one saw the walk in of
our two formal presidents and Kojo answered: ‘as our motto stands, taking you a
mile beyond your imagination, we want fans to know there is another huge
surprise package that will surely take them a mile beyond their imagination but
immediately I reveal it then it means there is no surprise again’.
He noted: ‘fans should
trip into the main hall of the AICC expecting something spectacular, we will
surely get the tag as the biggest event of the year again after the 15th
of September plus last year we blew people away but this time we will simply
shock them again’.
Kojo also stressed that,
they are maintaining their MCs who were, Chairman Kwame Sefa Kayi and Akuma
Mama Zinbe. Last year these two mcs handled the show very well so there is no
need to go in for a new one.
On the question of why
should someone attend the event, Kojo said: ‘first of, it is going to be the
biggest event of the year, it will be an upgrade of last year, secondly, we are on a road of
establishing a very huge brand hence we will leave no stone unturned to make
sure that happens and finally, it will be a serious event don’t forget we are
honoring the most serious but yet still gentle in Hi-life circles and the Ghana
music as a whole.
It is the celebration of
the hard work of Abrantie Amakye dede AKA ‘SERIOUS’ with over 25 super albums
at the AICC main hall come this 15th of September, if you miss it
then it is very simple, you missed the biggest event of the year.
