FEMALE SINGER SHE ADDING HER INK |
Ghana’s best female
vocal prowess, Yvonne Ohene Djan musically called SHE by the industry and
friends has dedicated her first single ‘DREAM LOVER’ to the former first lady
of the country, Naadu Mills as she could not stop her tears from falling into
the book of Condolence of the late president of Ghana – Prof. John Evans Fiifi Atta
Mills.
In adding her voice
to the Musicians union of Ghana, SHE’s sorrowed tears could not stop especially
when her first debut single ‘DREAM LOVER’ was one soulful song that touched
many hearts upon release and hence the artiste feels the country’s dream lover
is gone.
SHE said: ‘I did not
know that the song that was written by Kwabena Kwabena and sang by myself will
come back and put a tear in my eyes’. Now that the country’s dream lover is
gone, personally I have understood what the song means and also agree with the
saying that you don’t know what you have until you lose it’.
In his book of
condolence I wrote: ‘you were a lovely and kind man with a beautiful heart, for
your speech of wisdom echoes in my ears even till now, your message of peace
and unity is one fundamental element the country will duel on, we will forever
miss you Prof, with love from SHE.
In the singer’s final
words, SHE said, she dedicates her song DREAM LOVER to the former first lady
Naadu Mills, as she said: ‘please mum, only death can explain why she will take
our dream lover away but if we could just hear death explain to us why he does
that am sure we will never understand, God giveth and He taketh, I mourn with
you in these tiring moments’.
