Knii Lante is going deep in to reggae and showing his versatility as a musician with many sides. The practicing medical doctor who in 2000 released the hit single 'Mi k3 Bo Noo' a Ga afro pop music is about to drop a classic reggae tune titled ‘House Of Pain’.
Last year, Knii Lante happened to
be the first ever Ghanaian musician to get an official invitation from Tony
Rebel to perform at one of Jamaica's most recognized and biggest reggae
festivals, 'Rebel Salute'. Knii Lante was indeed on the line up for the 14th edition
of the festival alongside top reggae artists from Jamaica and elsewhere, billed
to perform on 14th January, 2013.
After months of waiting, Knii
Lante is finally ready to release 'House of Pain' produced by the
legendary Dean Fraser, on saturday September 15th. The single will be part of
an album yet to be titled but ready to be released next year. It is a song that
will challenge reggae artists locally but has the potential to crossover.
Knii lante's 2010 album, Love & Revolution,
is available on itunes and other major online music stores and outlets in
Accra.
