Appietus on Obour's Case: He does not 'Listen'

Music producer Appiah Dankwa popularly known as Appietus 'In the Mix' is vying for the seat of the president at the musicians union of Ghana this October.

Appiah who is currently part of the sitting president Obour's executive team disclosed this yesterday on Hitz 103.9fm during the Day break hitz show.

His reason for standing against his president is very simple, Obour does not listen.

Appiah admitted on air that he remembers he once encouraged alot of people including Mark Okraku Mantey (music producer, Station Manager for HitzFm) that they should come on board  to help build the new MUSIGA but he has come to the realization that Obour just listens for listening sake.

'I personally pushed alot of people to come join us and help build his government but when we give him the advice and suggestions he does not take action with it, that is why the union is still slow in growth' he noted.
As to what he brings to the table if given the nod to be the president of the union, Appietus said he wants to focus on building three things for the union.

First, he plans of setting up a multi purpose studio for both music recording and video filming, Secondly build support for upcoming artistes and finally build a radio / TV station where musicians work will be aired.

This year's MUSIGA election is slated for October and aside Appietus names like Shatta Wale, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Dasebre Gyamina, others are rumored to compete Obour for his second term.
