When Musiga released their qualifications ahead of their elections, one requirement that got the attention of many was the clause that said, A candidate must not have any criminal records.
That qualification requirement drew the attention of fans of Hi-life singer Dasebre Gyamenah. The singer has showed interest in competing Obour for the MUSIGA presidency.
So we caught up with Daddy Bosco the director of Special projects and Communications at MUSIGA to find out the singer's fate.
Remember the Hi-life singer was once involved in a drug case but was acquitted and discharged hence it was necessary we get the clarification.
In an exclusive interview with Daddy Bosco he clarified the issue by saying that the singer Dasebre Gyamenah can stand for MUSIGA President,
Daddy Bosco noted: 'Yes Dasebre was acquitted and discharged which means that he has no criminal records hence he is very much eligible to stand for the position'.
Dasebre Gyamenah is one out of many names who have showed interest in competing Obour as MUSIGA president.
Musiga presidential forms are out for Ghs 3,000. Forms submission will end in August.
