Ghanaian highlife legend, Papa
Kofi Yankson has endorsed another highlife singer, Nana Quame as one of the best singers of this current generation.
The announcement was made during an
exclusive interview on Atinka fm in Accra with Roman Father (Presenter). The
endorsement comes when the ‘Okukuseku’ and ‘Abam Kofi’ man was asked to mention
his best singer.
"Those people doing raps, I don't have anybody at hand. Those rap, how long will it stay in Ghana?
But there is this one guy called Nana Quame. That boy, when he sings I become very happy. I love his voice, his presentations, everything. That boy has a good voice."
Nana Quame has been in the highlife
music for some years now. He is best remembered for his popular and lovely
songs like Atia Donko, Asew konofo, Koye meho ade3, Otan hunu, Fakye, Akye,
which he featured Samini among others.
He is currently promoting his new
highlife song, ‘No Parking’ featuring K K Fosu, which has already won the
hearts of most music fans.
