Charter Haus, the power behind the performance of Ghana music awards, an annual awards show held in Ghana to celebrate talents, creativity and advancement in the music industry, yesterday afternoon met with a team from Global Media Alliance, owners of Y107.9fm, Etv Ghana and Happy 98.7fm (media wise).
The meeting held in a closed door has the rumor, according to sources that it is possible Ghana Music Awards 2011 will have its official media stations from the Global Media Alliance world of entertainment.
If the deal should go through ETV Ghana and YFM becomes the official mouth piece of the show in two mediums as the organizers will work with other people in other mediums.
Last year the event saw a similar turn as Sammy Forson of the Mid Morning show hosted the countdown to the final show, enticing and getting into the mood for the awards ceremony on Y107.9fm with great help from producer Kumi Owusu.
As to whether this year the turn of events will be different from what Global Media Alliance subsidiaries that are Y fm and ETV, the package was not disclosed to us by our source.
The meeting hosted some names like Nana OSei Sarpong of Yfm, host of Drive of Your Life, Ebenezer Hughes of Global Alliance, Head of Events plus other reputable names from Global Media Alliance.
If everything should go as planned our sources say, Y fm would start the count down on radio soon and ETV will show the Ghana Music Awards diaries.
