The annual 4syte TV Music Awards was held recently at the International Conference Center, as usual there were some disappointments and happy moments for hard working musicians with their video directors.

4X4 won the first and last awards at the event, they won the best Choreographed video and over all best video respectively all with the song ‘fresh one’ with Abortion talking a lot after the final award presentation.

Celestine Donkor won the best gospel video with ‘this is my year’ while Jay Gartey won the best male video with the song ‘Ma lady’, a video shot by phamous philms.

Further on, VIP took the best Hip Life video with ‘I think I like am’ including best picture video with the same song.

Sarkodie’s ‘Borga’ won the best editored video a hand writing of phamous philms, while ‘I win always naturally’ IWAN won the best reggae video with Thanks and praise.

Dblack, Kwaku T and the whole peer pressure group won the best storyline and best collaboration video for their song ‘Breathe’ ft Jay So of Skillions.

On the side of the female, saucy Mzbel won the best female video  with ‘Saucy girl’ a video shot by O M studios and still in the camp of OM studios, Jon Germain won the new discovery video of the year with ‘In my head’.

Phamous Philms won the best director for their hard work, having more nominations than all directors inspiring ‘I think I like am’ from VIP as they won the best video.

There cannot be an award without honoring our past heroes hence the great Ekow Ansah and Mr. Emmanuel Gyimah took home legendary awards for their contributions to cinematography in Ghana.

Coming all the way from Nigeria M I took the best African Act video and to end the day was the triple trio 4X4 winning the overall best video for the year 09-10?

It was a night where all those who mattered in Ghanaian showbiz industry from radio, TV, fashion, Movies, Masters of ceremony, DJ’s and the musicians themselves were there to grace the occasion.

KSM, Citizen Kofi, Kojo Antwi, Kafui Dee, Majid Michael, KOD, Nadia Buari, Funny face, among many celebrities that turned up for the event with the event’s masters of ceremony been ace actor John Dumelo and anchor Nana Ama Of TV3, their pair was delight to watch.
