This is a quick recap of activities that took place at the just held 4syte TV Music Video Awards. Taking it from the top will be the whole organizational set up.
The second annual 4syte TV music video awards was well organized and coordinated, every major screen in the auditorium was working with a purpose.
Coming down to the show, it kicked off with small Boy Yaaro, Mr. Richie of lynx Entertainment giving the audiences at taste of what they should be expecting.
Jon Dumelo, the favorite actor and news anchor Nana Ama of TV3 were able to hold the show together with good inter personal humor and coordination, even though Nana Ama was talking unnecessary sometimes.
Performance rating, this year, the performance rate from the Ghanaian artiste was something to write home about, from costume, dancers, concepts and stage movements.
The night saw Iwan with ‘Who’s Bad’, 5five with ‘Mogeebaye’, 4X4 doing justice to the ladies with ‘Fresh one’ and ‘Miss Doctor’, Eazzy was there for the guys but Mzbel’s showing off free ass was the only thing fans looked and screamed not her performance.
Jay Gartey flipped the crowd with ‘Ma lady’, as VIP told everybody what they thought about the show with “I think I like am’, FOI together with VIP told the ladies to show some body one more time with the song, ‘One more time’.
Dblack and his twin Dcrime moved the crowd with his latest as they dressed to fit their body complexion more over M I from Nigeria was a bit disappointing in his performance as he did little of what was expected from him.
The showman for the night was Ghana’s own fastest rapper Sarkodie with his ‘Preaching song’, ‘Daabi’, mixtapes and ‘Baby’ ft Mugees of R2Bees.
A quick look at the award winners and nominees, some of the award winners had question marks on it, while others were too genuine. The presentation of the awards by guest were on point, there were next to nothing like mistakes on the mi but the best act went to Funny face, when his comic words and approach in presenting the crowd took the audience nothing more to do than laugh their lungs out.
What about the crowd that turned up for the event, Ghanaians gradually understands the essence of such shows in the country as they welcomed the Music Video Awards with an open heart.
A packed auditorium both downstairs and upstairs saw majority of the people standing because there were no more chairs, so we asked who are those sitting down and where did they come from?
In all, massive heart out went to 4syte TV for their second try of a music video awards in Ghana, a second time success with an upgrade from the maiden one and we say “Ayekoo” to them, hoping that next year will be much better.
