After a successful
single into the music industry titled ‘New Day’, the Music for development focused
artiste Senyo is preparing for a second release but this time a peace song.
The singer who
doubles a senior qualified practicing nurse calls the new one ‘Asomdwe’ (Peace)
and hopes to feature the likes of D-Flex and Okyeame Kwame the rap doctor on
it.
Senyo in a chat said:
‘Yes there are so many peace songs in the system, but trust me, we need more
for the mere fact that we all speak different languages and appeal to different
people, we need to reach out more.
‘My new single has a
variety of languages and meets the right audience as plans are in place with my
management to push it harder across the ten regions of Ghana, especially in our
villages, Senyo mentioned.
He maintained: ‘the
new single is almost ready; Ghanaians should get ready for the first artiste
who is on for music for development and has the health of all at heart hence that
subject of good life through good music is a strong passion’.
Thanks to all who
listened to my first single, that DJ who played it on his radio and that fun
who downloaded it, the new one is here and we (management and my self) hope you
embrace this one too, Senyo’s final words.
