Kumasi is also part of
Ghana with very huge following for entertainment events in the country hence
event organizers should look that way when planning their events – Ándy Dosty

The popular DJ, who
doubles as a musician was on spotlight on TV3 last Friday to plead with event
houses in the country to also bring to the people in Kumasi loud outdoor events
just like how it is done in the capital – Accra.
Andy said, ‘every time there is a huge event definitely be in Accra but if it is a club
event then yes, Kumasi will be involved, so why can’t Kumasi also host the big
show, like Ghana music awards, Ghana meets Naija, and the likes’.
If we are to switch the
people living in the capital – Accra to Kumasi and vice versa, you will realize
that the new Kumasi owners will complain the very same way we in Kumasi are
doing now because everything will happen in Accra which is not fair because
event organizers always put Ghana on their event mean while Accra is not Ghana.

increase more when let’s say, Ghana music awards main show will be happening
there plus it will give the show a new look if it is tried.
May be the difficult
situation to face in Kumasi will be a venue but even that in Accra the value is
the same hence we plead to event houses to try Kumasi.
