The artiste is targeted to be launching his first major debut album called ‘PLATFORM’ in December this year; the launch will be accompanied with a new video as well as a surprise package for fans.
Guru whose new video makes up his third within a split of months is looking forward in releasing his new promotional CD with exciting songs for fans, as we gear towards his Debut launch this December.
‘Dime Awoo’ was shot by Steven Gyamfi with a concept of playing within the behavior of friends in two cities, hence activities that take place between two people.
With such concept the video was shot in Greater Accra and Kumasi with some interesting scenes. The artiste put his whole heart and soul into his third music video because it means a lot to him.
Guru said: ‘this song will portray the opposite side of me because my ability to tell a story of how people behave towards each other in society was superb’.
Adding, Guru stressed on the concept that it has nothing to do with his personal experience but ‘as an artiste you need to be able to put yourself in the shoes of fans and relate to them as feeling what they feel’.
‘Dime Awoo’ should be ready within some days to come possibly early hours of 16th November 2010 for all to have a feel and watch out for the Kumasi scenes you will love them.
