Jimmy Blakk has ended all controversies surrounding the ownership of the song ‘Scatta Wakka’ by punching Assase Aban in the face saying: ‘I respect their featuring and it was nice working with them but the song does not belong to them’.
Jimmy the Nigeria born artiste signed to 9 8 9 studios in Ghana is not too offended about the rumors going around that Assase Aban owned the song and that he featured.
He rather wants people to know that the song was originally played in Nigeria but re recorded by Doctor Spooky in Ghana, ‘so how can they own the song’, jimmy said.
Further on he said that: when the song was recorded Doc. Spooky thought it will not be a bad idea to put them on the song, hence they happen to be a round by then, so we did it and Scatta Wakka became a hit.
There is no beef between myself and Assase Aban, we can’t even tell who is spreading those rumors but we want whoever is doing that to stop and it must be now, Jimmy stressed on.
Responses for the song are great, I am enjoying my stay in Ghana, I feel like am home and nothing or nobody should destroy that, he lamented.
Probably Jimmy Blakk has forgotten that the rumors was due to Assase Aban being a favorite to the Ghanaian fans more than him but now that he has cleared the air Ghanaians will give Praise where praise is due, he should know that.
In the meanwhile another hit will becoming from the Nigerian artiste staying in Ghana, as he tells fans to watch out keeping fingers crossed but hopes that the response to the new one will be just like Scatta Wakka.
All we can do is waiting for the release and judge it, whether good or bad.
His final appreciation went to 9 8 9 studios for his signing and the whole of Ghana for their acceptance.
