The 4th annual
4Syte TV music video awards was suppose to have been hosted by Jeremie and Jay
Foley as communicated through their own platforms and shows especially during
their weekly shows on TV but the two were missing on stage during the main
show.
The situation as expected
by many was different during the main event as many including ourselves was
surprised when the DJ for the night DJ Nii Ayi mention Bola Ray and Nana Aba of
TV3 as our hosts.
Many got disappointed as some
said they came purposely to support Jeremie who is their favorite presenter in
the country and not these two hence there was a little tension in the crowd
gathered where we sat to watch the show in the auditorium.
NanaYaw18.com spoke to
some fans who said that, even though Bola Ray and Nana Aba did a great show
apart from them talking a lot on stage, they really came to see the two; Jeremie
and Jay Foley not the current host.
We are on able to find out
why the change of MCs at the eleventh hour by the organizers as nobody was
ready to talk to us after the show claiming to be busy but just for the records
it is not done anywhere in the world.
Is it that 4syte TV music
video awards organizers intentionally wanted to play with the intelligence of
Ghanaians by communicating names as main hosts and giving us different hosts on
the final day, (may be it was meant to be a surprise).
Well all in all rumors
going around is that because of the MTN factor or sponsorship that is why the
two huge names in Ghana’s showbiz got on the platform to be MCs.
As to whether it is true
or not the hosts for the night – Bola Ray and Nana Aba did a great job. They
were able to keep the crowd alive till the end of the show. Nana Aba’s only
problem was that she was on stage with a man who has a huge fanbase and
following even than some musicians in the country hence she was over shadowed.
To the organizers we would
humbly want to know why the two; Jeremy and Jay Foley were missing on that 4th
annual 4syte TV music video awards stage held at the Conference center – Main Hall.
