The empire records signed artiste Dobble
made up of paa Kwesi and Nana Yaw over the weekend silenced their fellow group
artiste Keche at the night with the stars held at the Dome of the AICC.
As arranged by organizers of the show this
year’s night with the stars was tagged as a battle between Accra and Tema hence
the seke boys Dobble represented Accra while Keche represented Tema.
Per arrangements by organizers, keche the ‘alungutugui’
boys where billed to perform first before the s3k3 boys Dobble. Right from
backstage, Keche was defeated mentally as they refused to perform before
Dobble.
Performance wise, Keche who had wardrobe malfunction
by repeating the same dressing in their ‘aluguntugui’ video. Their stage craft
for the Keche boys was nothing to write home about as they came to walk on
stage without their dancers.
Dobble on the other hand had glamour stage
entry and response from audience. Their opening act which blew the over 4000 audience
away as the duo got the crowd screaming and chanting their name.
The main performance from dobble coupled
with the dancers and the little girl AZONTO who drove the audience into
excitement.
After the performance of the s3k3 boys it
was obvious that they had beautifully disgraced and silenced the Keche boys
from Spyder lee entertainment. The shutting up of Keche by Dobble became a huge
topic in the mist of the audience as many wondered why they (keche) after a
good performance at the 4syte TV MVAs came to flop.
Well a good stagecraft is when from opening
act through to stage coordination energy of the artiste is eminent for all to see
and that is what Dobble gave the crowd on the night where every star gathered at
the DOME –AICC.
